In the city of Metropolis, a world renowned, yet twisted scientific genius known as Professor Anthony Ivo desires immortality and seeks out the powers of the world’s greatest heroes in order to achieve his goal. To this end, he creates AMAZO, an android built with "absorption cell” technology that allows him to mimic the abilities of Earth’s heroes, and Ivo uses his creation to threaten the world in exchange for their powers.
Now because of all this, Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, the Flash & Green Lantern are all brought together by the telepathic alien known as Martian Manhunter to form the Justice League of America in order to hopefully combat this great threat.
