Zachary Edward Snyder (born March 1, 1966) is an American filmmaker. He made his feature film debut in 2004 with Dawn of the Dead, a remake of the 1978 horror film of the same name. Since then, he has directed or produced a number of comic book and superhero films, including 300 (2006) and Watchmen (2009), as well as the Superman film that started the DC Extended Universe, Man of Steel (2013), and its follow-ups, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) and Justice League (2017), the latter of which had a director's cut released in 2021. He also directed the animated film Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole (2010), the psychological action film Sucker Punch (2011), the zombie heist film Army of the Dead (2021), and the two-part space opera films Rebel Moon (2023) and Rebel Moon—Part Two: The Scargiver (2024). In 2004, he founded the production company The Stone Quarry (formerly known as Cruel and Unusual Films) alongside his wife Deborah Snyder and producing partner Wesley Coller. [THE PENULTIMATE MOVIE IN MY DCU] IN THE NOT SO DISTANT FUTURE - THE KNIGHTMARE WORLD. The Justice League have lost. Green Lanterns Alpha, Bravo and Charlie, Green Arrow, Black Canary and The Martain Manhunter are all dead. Aquaman's left arm is ripped off [his trident is also snapped in two and impaled in his left shoulder], Plastic Man and Elongated Man are tied together, Shazam has his right leg ripped off and Cyborg has his lower half ripped apart. [Supergirl is missing] All by the hands of Superman. Superman has succumbed to the Anit-Life Equation. The Planet is terraformed into Apokolips II, with Darkseid ruling. He has Superman at his side, with Superman as Darkseid's Herald. Darkseid discovers that the surviving Justice Leaguers are planning to travel to the past to prevent this World from occuring. Darkseid sends Superman to kill the surviving Justice Leaguers. Will they be able to defeat Superman? Will Superman kill them like the others? Would time traveling work?
