After banished from his home world and by his ruler Darkseid, Steppenwolf’s only way to be brought to his rightful place is to destroy an entire universe, Steppenwolf goes to earth and finds a human by the name of Maxwell Lord. Lord tells Steppenwolf everything about the heroes of earth, strengths weaknesses and all, Steppenwolf rules all, will stop at nothing until he gets his rightdul place back home, even if he must kill the Justice League to get back.
