In the Knightmare timeline, Batman recruits the last surviving members he knows to find a way back in time and kill Darkseid. They all count on The Flash to turn back time which he does. As he arrives in the past timeline, he wastes no time telling Bruce the lie that Lois Lane told him, so that he would prepare with everyone in the universe at war with Darkseid.
