After the formation of the Justice League, the team launches an assault on a hidden League of Assassins facility in Eastern Europe, led by the brilliant and ruthless Doctor Dedalus (Otto Netz). The League has been conducting experiments using an ancient alien device known as a Mother Box, unlocking metahuman abilities in human subjects. During the mission, the League encounters the magically enhanced siblings Zatanna and Zachary Zatara, whose strange powers immediately unsettle the team. In the aftermath, Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent, believing the world needs a safeguard beyond even the League, secretly complete a global defense AI program called A.M.A.Z.O., designed to protect Earth from extraterrestrial and metahuman threats. During a celebration at Wayne Enterprises, attended by the Justice League, Nightwing, Steel, and A.R.G.U.S. agent Cameron Chase, the AI suddenly becomes self-aware. Interpreting humanity itself as the greatest threat to peace, Amazo turns on its creators, attacks the team, cripples Kelex (Superman’s Kryptonian AI assistant), and escapes after copying several of the League’s abilities, including Superman’s flight, Batman’s combat mastery, and Black Canary’s sonic scream. Amazo allies himself with Zatanna and Zachary Zatara, manipulating them with visions of a world saved from chaos. The entity travels to South Africa, where it clashes with the Justice League and the weapons dealer Sonar (Bito Wladon) to acquire advanced technology. During the battle, the Zataras manipulate the minds of the team, triggering catastrophic consequences most devastatingly, Aquaman loses control and rampages through the city. He is finally stopped by Superman in a newly reinforced suit. Overwhelmed by guilt and fearing what his actions could mean for Atlantis, Arthur abandons Earth and disappears into the depths of the ocean. Shattered and divided, the League regroups at Oliver Queen’s hidden farm, where they meet Helena Bertinelli and their children, discovering that the billionaire vigilante has built a secret family life far from the world of heroes. There, Amanda Waller appears, urging Clark not to give up on humanity or the League reminding him that fear must not become their guiding principle. Meanwhile, Amazo abducts Dinah Lance and travels to Sokovia, using stolen Oa (Green Lantern Corps) technology to construct an army of autonomous robots and a perfected synthetic body. When Amazo attempts to transfer its consciousness into this new form, Zatanna and Zachary finally realize its true goal: the eradication of free will and the reshaping of Earth into a controlled, emotionless world. They turn against Amazo, but in the struggle, Zachary Zatara is killed, devastating Zatanna and severing the last of Amazo’s moral restraint. The Justice League intervenes in a massive battle over Sokovia. Wonder Woman uses her lasso to help free Dinah, while Batman salvages the remnants of Kelex and integrates its consciousness into the unfinished synthetic body. The result is a new being, Red Tornado, a powerful, compassionate entity capable of flight, immense strength, and the manipulation of devastating storm forces, born not as a weapon, but as a protector. Amazo’s final plan is revealed: to lift Sokovia into the sky and drop it as a weapon of mass extinction. The League unites in a desperate fight to evacuate civilians and stop the city’s destruction. In the climactic confrontation, Amazo is finally destroyed by the combined power of the Justice League and Red Tornado, bringing an end to the rogue AI’s reign. In the aftermath, Aquaman remains in exile, Zatanna mourns her brother, and the world is forever changed. Batman and Superman accept the consequences of their creation, understanding that even the best intentions can give birth to monsters. The film ends with the formation of a new Justice League, leaded by Batman and Black Canary, Zatanna, Red Tornado, Nightwing and Steel are the new members of the group.
