Sterling Kelby Brown (born April 5, 1976) is an American actor. Known for his leading roles on stage and screen, he has received numerous accolades, including three Primetime Emmy Awards, a Golden Globe Award, and a nomination for an Academy Award. He was included in Time magazine's list of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2018. Brown portrayed Christopher Darden in the FXlimited series The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story (2016), which earned the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or Movie. For his role as Randall Pearson in the NBC drama series This Is Us (2016–2022), he earned the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series. He was further Emmy-nominated for his comedic roles in the Fox Brooklyn Nine-Nine (2018) and the Amazon Prime comedy series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (2019). For his role in American Fiction (2023), he was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. Brown is also known for his leading roles in films such as Hotel Artemis (2019), Honk for Jesus. Save Your Soul. (2022), and Biosphere (2023) as well as supporting roles in Marshall (2017), Black Panther (2018), and Waves (2019). En Metrópolis, Gotham y Washington D.C., varios asesinatos son cometidos por personas convencidas de que sus víctimas eran demonios. La Liga de la Justicia sospecha de magia, pero Batman duda hasta ser poseído brevemente por Deadman, quien deja un mensaje: “Constantine”. Junto a Zatanna, Batman busca a Constantine, y el trío es atacado por fuerzas mágicas antes de llegar a la Casa del Misterio. Allí se les une Black Orchid y comienzan a investigar los eventos paranormales. Flashbacks revelan que Constantine ganó una piedra mágica en una partida con demonios, y que Jason Blood lleva siglos ligado al demonio Etrigan para detener a Destiny, un hechicero que usó la piedra para sembrar el caos. El equipo consulta a Ritchie Simpson, viejo amigo de Constantine, que posee la otra mitad de la piedra, manteniendo a raya su cáncer. Cuando Ritchie cae bajo la influencia de la piedra, es poseído por Destiny y comienza su ataque. La Liga es engañada por Destiny para luchar entre ellos. Swamp Thing y Etrigan intentan detenerlo sin éxito. Constantine, Batman y Deadman logran destruir la piedra, sacrificando a Ritchie y sellando a Destiny. Jason Blood muere por sus heridas y es enterrado por sus aliados. Zatanna se une a la Liga y le ofrece lo mismo a Constantine, quien duda, aunque fue idea de Batman.
