Fan Casting ''The Old Friend'' in Justice League: Crisis On Thirteen Earths

In the ending scene for the film, we flashfoward twenty years in the future, back to the Gotham City Cemetary, where a visibly older Clark Kent visits the grave of the Wayne family. As he stares at Bruce Wayne's gravestone, he speaks with tears in his eyes, saying, ''I understand now, Bruce. It took a long time for me to, but I understand.'' before wiping a tear from his cheek and continuing. As your world grew darker, so did ours. When your war ended, our lives could begin again...'' Clark then places a framed photo of the Justice League from days past, before finishing his small speech, saying, ''Goodbye.. Old friend.'' and then leaving the cemetary.
