Fan Casting Clark Kent in Justice League: Crisis On Thirteen Earths

Alongside Batman and one half of the Justice League, Clark Kent, better known as Superman, is also mind-flayed and tortured by Brainiac, who laces Kryptonite into the mind-flaying process. After Bruce Wayne kills Brainiac and his ship crashes into Metropolis, Kal-El and the Justice League dig themselves, plus Bruce, out of the wreckage, and comfort their old friend as he succumbs to his wounds. When Bruce dies, Clark lets out a scream of pain and rage that is heard all across the world. Superman attends Batman's funeral, and is the last person to leave, placing Bruce's half-destroyed cowl next to his tomb before he leaves.
