Martian Manhunter, Flash, Green Arrow, Arsenal, and Teen Titans battle Darkseid's forces as expansion tubes are being opened around the world. The Suicide Squad is also sent to help. John Stewart returns to Earth with a group of lanterns, with the approval of the Guardians, even freeing Hal from prison and giving him an additional ring. Parademons attack Atlantis and Themyscira, prompting Aquaman and Wonder Woman to lead their armies into battle, the main villain in the film will be Steppen Wolf. The film ends with the defeat of several of Darkseid's top generals and the remaining original heroes rising when Darkseid arrives on Earth.
