While living happily with his parents, his younger sister Mila and his girlfriend Traci, Jaime encounters a strange blue stone which is, in fact, the Blue Beetle Scarab, an alien force who lost his former owner, Ted Kord. So, it decides to graft itself on the young man's spine, gifting him technological powers. Funny, a bit clumsy, but always loyal to his loved ones, he joins the League after he helps Barry and Clark...
