Superman faces his deadliest foe yet—Doomsday, a Kryptonian clone engineered by Lex Luthor using Kryptonite. In a brutal battle, Superman falls. His death shocks the world. As news spreads, the Justice League—Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Aquaman, Green Arrow, and Martian Manhunter—gathers. Luthor is planning something bigger. The League prepares for Superman’s funeral, wary of threats. At the emotional service, Lois Lane delivers the eulogy beside Superman’s golden casket and a tomb crafted from shards of the Fortress of Solitude. Heroes and allies attend: Martha and Jonathan Kent, Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, Alfred, Zatanna, Captain Marvel, Wally West, and many more. Suddenly, Batman gets word of a disturbance. He, Diana, Barry, and Arthur rush to downtown Metropolis where they find the Legion of Doom: Luthor, Black Adam, Cheetah, Black Manta, Deathstroke, and Reverse Flash. Luthor activates a portal to Apokolips, seeking the Anti-Life Equation. Reverse Flash knocks Barry into the portal generator, causing a malfunction. The four heroes are sucked into a time vortex. Bruce and Barry wake in 2010’s Daily Planet, encountering the Superman of that era. Meanwhile, Diana and Arthur land in 2012 and enlist the help of Ryan Choi and young Barry. To return, they seek Henry Tockman, now in the Phantom Zone. Arthur retrieves him, and Henry opens a way back. As present and past heroes converge, Apokolips looms in Earth’s sky, the red storm of Darkseid’s arrival has begun.
