Most of the dinosaurs are contained within ByoSyn’s research facility in the Northwest of the USA. The area is secured by electromagnetic fences, chip implants keep the dinosaurs from getting out. Biosyn’s plan is to breed and partly sell them, therefore the dinosaur population is growing. A major power outage in the area makes the fences run solely on emergency power, the local services and Biosyn’s technicians try to fix the blackout for several days but can’t get online. Meanwhile the fuel is running out. Together they eventually find out the cause of the blackout: after their massive expansion Biosyn themself need too much energy, additionally climate change led to a shortage of rainfall and therefore not enough hydropower for their powerplant. The local power grid was not equipped for helping out the facility for much time. Baselton and his employes have to watch the electromagnetic shield go out and more and more dinosaurs leave their containments. Biosyn’s team immediately tries to catch them but is not prepared for capturing so many animals at once. So Baselton has to call for help – not only once more the DPG but also the military and other special forces. Leah, William, Elena and Richard team up with Thorne and some old colleagues from Jurassic World to stop the dinosaurs from spreading further. Within a few days dinosaurs roam some parts of northwestern USA. There is now dinosaur-interference with humans or other eco-systems.
