In 1994, a ragtag group of overzealous treasure hunters and their shady corporate benefactors arrive on Isla Nublar in search of a missing cargo plane carrying half a billion dollars in gold that crashed there a couple of decades before, only to discover that the island is home to the ill-fated Jurassic Park are now in a race against time to find the plane while trying to survive the island's prehistoric inhabitants.
