Rochedo trained under Katigura during the power struggle between Loka and Zumbi. He chose to continue studying with Loka and has since formed his own school. Rochedo is independently wealthy thanks to his father's tourism business. He spends most of his time teaching capoeira to underprivileged children in Rio. Rochedo worries that Loka's cheerful nature blinds him to the threat Zumbi poses. He and his prize student, Saturno, are coming on Loka's tour to watch the Mestre's back.
