Mario and Luigi are two 30-something Italian-American brothers, are struggling to run their own plumbing business in Brooklyn. However, when a strange encounter with passing meteor turns out to be a strange star-like artefact from another dimension, the brothers soon find themselves dragged into a series of interdimensional ramifications, affecting everyone they meet up with along their quest to find a way back home.
