The film focuses on a teenage Shinigami named Ichigo Kurosaki who leads a coup d'état along with his underlings. Losing his memory in an attack against Sasuke Uchiha's Akatsuki and learning that Naruto Uzumaki mysteriously disappeared, Ichigo goes on a journey with a girl named Orihime Inoue to learn his identity, so that he will be able to recover the subject of his mission.
