Piers (Japanese: ネズ Nezu) is a singer-songwriter who is the captain of Team Yell and the Gym Leader of Spikemuth's Gym, known officially as the Spikemuth Gym. He specializes in Dark-type Pokémon. He gives the Dark Badge to Trainers who defeat him. During the events of Pokémon Sword and Shield, he retires from his position as a Gym Leader and passes the title on to his little sister, Marnie.
