Fan Casting Malus in Josh Trank's Shadow of the Colossus

The sixteenth and final colossus—a creature so massive it is the Dark Fortress itself. Malus stands taller than all other colossi combined, with long spindly arms, a scarred dark head, and glowing eyes. It does not roar or charge. It is patient, deadly, and still. It fires electric bolts from its hands. When Wander finally reaches its head and plunges the sword into its skull, the creature's death gasp is mournful—not triumphant. Serkis gives Malus the tragic weight of a misunderstood guardian protecting a seal that should never have been broken.
