Joe White was a free lance criminal in Gotham City. He wasn’t the most subtle criminal, as he was a hedonistic, self serving psychopath who did everything out of boredom and a pure love of mayhem. Joe even started his own gang, the Red Hood Gang, a group of both men and women dressed in suits with red masks obscuring their faces so they can commit crimes anonymously. Joe was also good friends with the different mobsters in Gotham, from Carmine Falcone to Alfonso “Baby Face” Face. Unfortunately, the good days would soon come to an unfortunate end. Joe had an affair with the wife of Carmine Falcone, who inevitably found out and was obviously a little pissed that one of his most trusted allies went behind his back. He thus got his revenge by framing Joe for bombing a black market warehouse owned by Baby-Face. The next day, Joe is kidnapped by Baby Face’s men during a Red Hood bank heist, and taken to Ace Chemicals where he is brutally beaten. Before they can kill him, the chemical plant is raided by the GCPD, who were tipped off by Falcone. Joe managed to escape by jumping into one of the chemical vats and being flushed into the river. He emerged from the river, chalk white from head to toe with severe chemical burns, and dirty green hair. He then traveled to an underground hospital and bandaged his wounds. Joe totally loses it and goes on a killing spree, murdering everyone who double crossed him, while dressed in a purple wedding tuxedo and mime face makeup.
