Some months after the Minor League came to an end and the Near-Darkest Day was prevented, the Galar Angels are more than happy to enjoy the newfound peace in their lives. In fact, Amane's taking that time to go on vacation to the Johto region with her family! After hearing the legend of Celebi from her grandparents, Amane decides to pay its residence in Ilex Forest a visit, but when she visits its shrine, she finds not only Celebi, but a strange girl who bears a strong resemblance to her and Kamala, and strange monsters who want her dead!
