A brooding, James Dean-esque vampire who serves as the reluctant anti-hero of the story. Julian is the newest member of David's coven, still clinging to his humanity and haunted by guilt over the lives he has taken. He forms a forbidden connection with Vanessa and risks everything to protect her from David's influence, even if it means betraying his own kind.
