The film adaption of the Broadway musical based the novel by Robert Louis Stevenson, "The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde". The story about a man of science, who trying to perfect a formula to expels the evils in man, ended up releasing the darker being from within himself.
