Fan Casting Detective John "Fad" McFadden in James McTeigue's Cowboy Bebop

An old ISSP contact and former friend of Jet Black, Fad is a weary, cynical cop who has spent too many years processing bounty claims and signing off on paperwork. He genuinely likes Jet and wants to help him, but the system grinds down everyone equally. When he signs the order suspending Jet’s pension, he does it with quiet shame and averted eyes. He is not corrupt, merely exhausted. In a better world, he would have been the hero. In this one, he is just another man who stopped fighting.
