Fan Casting Asimov Solesan in James McTeigue's Cowboy Bebop

A former associate of Spike from his Syndicate days, Asimov is a wheelman and explosives expert now hooked on Red Eye, a drug that eliminates reaction time and replaces it with twitchy paranoia. He busts Vicious out of prison, then tries to escape with his girlfriend Maria to Mars. Spike tracks him to a backwater asteroid and corners him in a hotel room. Asimov dies on the Bebop’s table, shot by Faye, rambling about pineapples and apologies. He is not a villain. He is just a man who made terrible choices.
