Fan Casting Andy Von De Oniyate in James McTeigue's Cowboy Bebop

A rival bounty hunter who has taken the “cowboy” moniker to absurd extremes, Andy rides a horse through space stations, wears a ten-gallon hat and tassels, and twirls his pistol like a Wild West showman. He is annoying, self-serious, and genuinely competent enough to be a threat. He cuts Spike off during a bounty chase, gets his face smashed by Faye’s stiletto, and keeps coming back for more. Andy is not a villain. He is just that guy—the one who thinks he is the main character when he is clearly not.
