Fan Casting Lusia Viera in James McTeigue's Bloodsport

A beautiful 20-year-old blind woman whose lithe, cut body bespeaks grace and supple power. Trained by her grandfather, legendary fighter Helio Viera, she fights in vale tudo matches to earn money for an eye operation. She trusts what she hears, smells, and feels—reading violence in a man's footsteps and the crack of his punches. She teaches Dekker the "forca invisible": surrendering strength to use an opponent's against them. Proud, fierce, and refusing pity, she becomes Dekker's mentor and lover—and ultimately gains her sight, seeing him for the first time.
