The film would have been an origin story with a 17-year-old Peter Parker and the main antagonists being two villains such as Boyd (a.k.a. Sandman) and Carlton Strand (who is loosely based on both Electro and Kingpin). According to James Cameron himself this was supposed to be the best movie he never made using Peter's powers as a way to make a methafor of puberty.
