Sinopsis La sinopsis de esta primera entrega es muy simple. Dos colegas despreocupados de la Aldea de Sandover deciden ir a explorar la misteriosa Isla de Misty, lugar que Samos el Sabio Verde les había prohibido visitar. Allí asisten a escondidas a una reunión de lurkers en la que dos extravagantes personajes comunican a los monstruos que atacarán la aldea dentro de poco. A continuación, Jak y Daxter exploran un pozo de Eco Oscuro y se encuentran un aparato Precursor que Jak activa nada más tocarlo.
