When 12 year old Jackson Way is framed for stealing the legendary hammer of Thor, Mjolnir, he learns he is the secret son of Odin and travels to Asgard where he meets 13 year old Frost Giant, Locust Hall and 12 year old Alexa Cane who are hired by Loki, Jackson's half brother to train Jackson to fight in order to go on a quest to get the Hammer back from Hel, the Godess of Death who they believe could have actually stole the hammer. On their quest Jackson, Locust, and Alexa face adversaries like the Dark Valkyries who were created in the pits of Helheim who guard Hel's castle, Hel who is revealed to have nothing to do with the hammer being stolen, Baldur the Brave who is revealed to have been holding on to the hammer for the actual thief, and Loki who is revealed to be the thief who gets away in the end but Jackson gets the hammer and returns it to Odin.
