Serhii Strelnikov (born November 13, 1979) is a Ukrainian film actor best known for his leading roles in Dovbush and Strasti po Chapayu (The Passions of Chapayev). He was born in the village of Dmitrievka, Nikiforovsky district, Tambov region, in a family of doctors. At the age of two, he moved with his parents to Skvyra, and later to the town of Stavyshche in Kyiv region. His father later became the chief doctor of a rehabilitation center, and the family relocated again to the village of Zhuravlykha. Serhii attended elementary school in Zhuravlykha and later completed his studies in the village of Raskoshne after the Chernobyl disaster, where his family received an apartment in a newly built settlement for Chernobyl evacuees. Serhii’s father tragically passed away when Serhii was 11 years old. In 1996, after finishing school, Serhii enrolled at the Kyiv College of Culture, majoring in “mass event direction,” graduating with honors. He continued his education at the Kyiv National University of Theatre, Cinema, and Television named after I. K. Karpenko-Karyi, under professor N. N. Rushkovsky. After graduating in 2003, he worked in the Youth Theater “Atelier 16.” Serhii began acting in films in the early 2000s, initially taking small roles in TV series such as Den Rozhdeniya Burzhuya 2, Bezdelniki, and Evropeyskiy Konvoy. His first notable role was in Angel-Khranitel, playing police officer Kolya. Over the years, he became known for diverse roles in historical, dramatic, and action projects in Ukraine and Russia.
