Ollie's Pack is a Canadian-American animated sitcom created by Pedro Eboli and Graham Peterson, developed by Mark Satterthwaite and executive produced by Justin Roiland. It was produced by Showtime Networks and Bell Media and aired on MuchMusic in Canada. In the United States, it premiered on Comedy Central on September 5, 2019. The series follows Ollie (Justin Roiland) and his backpack, who are doubled as a powerful portal allowing an array of monsters to travel from the monsterverse into Ollie's world on Earth. Throughout the series, Ollie and his (narcissistic and sociopathic) two best friends, Cleo (Kate Micucci) and Bernie (Sean Giambrone), and his trainer/mentor Captain Wowski (David Herman), who are then joined by his younger sister Pyper (Mary Mack), must protect the earth from the horrifying monsters that have escaped, while often utilizing the helpful monsters who assist with their everyday unethical behavior and anti-social traits such as racism, misogyny, ableism, homophobia, transphobia, antisemitism, extreme selfishness and lack of regard for others, pathological dishonesty, narcissism, constant superficiality, physical aggression, blatant disregard for the law, excessive drinking and substance abuse, unregulated emotions, cruelty, greed, envy, manipulative and predatory tendencies, apathy toward suffering, contempt for others and a lack of remorse. No matter the circumstances, Ollie's thirst for adventure undoubtedly gets him into into absurd, dark, and painfully embarrassing situations that only he, his sister, his trainer, and his friends can resolve.
