José, also known as Zé, is filming "Cacau" for TVI and is taking the stage as the co-protagonist in the play "A Andorinha / La Golondrina". La vida “perfecta” de Carolina se desvanece de un día para otro cuando se ve involucrada en una millonaria estafa producto de los irresponsables manejos su marido. Perseguida por la justicia, junto con su hijo y empleada, decide escapar y refugiarse en el convento en el que vive su hermana gemela, Celeste.
