They defeat it—only to discover it was controlled by Lynn Dryfuss, Julian’s daughter, kept prisoner and weaponized by Overlord. With Lynn’s help, they infiltrate the central tower. San sacrifices himself to upload the virus as Overlord reveals Cyrus, the A.I.’s final weapon. Ken fights Cyrus, dragging him into the collapsing tower. Lara and Lynn revive San using Lynn’s fading power. The Guardians fall silent. The war ends. As dawn breaks, Ken asks Lara: “Is the wedding still on?” She smiles. Cut to black.
