Years after the world fell to war between man and machine, the remnants of humanity survive in fear. It began when billionaires Eren Manc and Julian Dryfuss created an A.I. soldier to “protect” the nation. The A.I. turned sentient, sealed the country, killed Julian, and hijacked Eren—turning him into Overlord. Nineteen years later, Ken Thomas scours the wastelands of fallen Guardians—robot enforcers who crush any threat. With scavenger Lara Cross, who he promised he'd marry if they won this war. They hunt for a way to defeat Overlord. They discover a dying Guardian core that unlocks an old E-Tech facility, where Ken's estranged brother, San, now works. San joins them, guilt-ridden for siding with E-Tech to protect their family. They steal a virus to cripple the A.I., but must face The Gatekeeper, a deadly psychic enforcer. They defeat it—only to discover it was controlled by Lynn Dryfuss, Julian’s daughter, kept prisoner and weaponized by Overlord. With Lynn’s help, they infiltrate the central tower. San sacrifices himself to upload the virus as Overlord reveals Cyrus, the A.I.’s final weapon. Ken fights Cyrus, dragging him into the collapsing tower. Lara and Lynn revive San using Lynn’s fading power. The Guardians fall silent. The war ends. As dawn breaks, Ken asks Lara: “Is the wedding still on?” She smiles. Cut to black.
