After the Battle of New York, Tony Stark is haunted by PTSD and becomes obsessed with building more Iron Man suits, believing constant preparation is the only way to protect Earth. His obsession strains his relationships with Pepper Potts and Rhodey as he isolates himself further. When remnants of the Ten Rings steal Stark tech, Tony sets out to neutralize the stolen suits, sparking the "Armor Wars." Justin Hammer seeks profit from Tony’s inventions, while Ezekiel Stane, the vengeful son of Obadiah Stane, creates an advanced suit to destroy Tony’s legacy. In their first battle Stane beats Tony and his suit flies away crashing into a barn where he meets a young kid named Harley Keener who helps him with his suit. Overwhelmed, Tony turns to Reed Richards for help in tracking the stolen tech, hinting at a future alliance. Hank Pym, still resentful toward Tony, criticizes his reckless behavior. At Stark Industries, a young intern named Peter Parker impresses Tony with his intellect, foreshadowing future connections. In the final battle, Tony faces Ezekiel Stane and destroys the stolen tech. Despite his victory, Tony’s PTSD worsens, pushing him toward more extreme solutions. Post Credits: Tony introduces Bruce Banner to his AI defense system, Ultron, unknowingly setting the stage for disastrous events.
