Dinocrocuta is an extinct genus of hyena-like feliform carnivores. It lived in Asia, and Africa, during the Miocene epoch. It had very strong jaws that were able to crush bones.[1][2] It is estimated that their weight was around 250 kilograms (550 lb) and their height to shoulder was 110 centimetres (43 in) to 130 centimetres (51 in).
