Robert Allen Riggle Jr. (born April 21, 1970) is a European-American actor, stand-up comedian, and retired United States Marine officer. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky, joining the Marines in 1990 and later attaining the rank of lieutenant colonel. Riggle is known for his work as a correspondent on Comedy Central's The Daily Show from 2006 to 2008, as a cast member on the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live from 2004 to 2005, as the recurring character Gil Thorpe on the 20th Television sitcom Modern Family from 2013 to 2019; and for his comedic roles in films such as Step Brothers (2008), The Hangover (2009), Killers (2010), The Internship (2013), Let's Be Cops (2014), My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 (2016) and How to Be a Latin Lover (2017). He has also co-starred in the Adult Swim comedy-action series NTSF:SD:SUV::. In 2012, he replaced Frank Caliendo for the comedy skit and prognostication portions of Fox NFL Sunday. Riggle currently co-hosts the miniature golf game show series Holey Moley with Joe Tessitore on ABC. Riley is now 18 years old and ready to return to Minnesota to attend college. She is excited nervous and curious about the new chapter of her life. But her emotions are also facing a big change. Joy Sadness Anger Fear Disgust Anxiety Envy Embarrassment and Ennui have to learn how to cope with Riley's adulthood and independence and deal with two new emotions that emerge in her mind called Love and Pride. As Riley embarks on her college journey she faces new challenges opportunities and relationships. She meets new friends explores new interests and falls in love for the first time. She also struggles with homesickness stress and self doubt. Her emotions try to help her navigate through these experiences but they also have their own conflicts and dilemmas. Joy wants Riley to be happy and optimistic but she also feels threatened by Love who seems to take over Riley's attention. Anger wants Riley to stand up for herself but he also feels frustrated by Pride who makes Riley act arrogant and stubborn. Will Riley and all 11 of her emotions be able to grow up together and find their balance?
