Maya Ray Thurman Hawke (born July 8, 1998) is an American actress and singer-songwriter. She is the daughter of Hollywood actors Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman. She began her career in modelling and subsequently made her screen debut as Jo March in the 2017 BBC adaptation of Little Women. Hawke gained recognition for starring as Robin Buckley in the Netflix science fiction series Stranger Things (2019–2025). She appeared in the films Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019), Fear Street Part One: 1994 (2021), Do Revenge (2022), Asteroid City (2023), Maestro (2023), and Wildcat (2023), and had a voice role in Inside Out 2 (2024). As a musician, she has released the albums Blush (2020), Moss (2022), and Chaos Angel (2024). Riley is now 18 years old and ready to return to Minnesota to attend college. She is excited nervous and curious about the new chapter of her life. But her emotions are also facing a big change. Joy Sadness Anger Fear Disgust Anxiety Envy Embarrassment and Ennui have to learn how to cope with Riley's adulthood and independence and deal with two new emotions that emerge in her mind called Love and Pride. As Riley embarks on her college journey she faces new challenges opportunities and relationships. She meets new friends explores new interests and falls in love for the first time. She also struggles with homesickness stress and self doubt. Her emotions try to help her navigate through these experiences but they also have their own conflicts and dilemmas.
