Among the new heroes uninvolved in the ongoing war, Stargirl has highest hopes of wanting the end the war, but just can't find any solution on how to do so. Luckily, she helps Supergirl escape Amanda Waller's Peacekeepers and meets with Commander Catwoman and the Insurgents. With the Black Lantern Corps conquering Earth by awakening the dead as their own, Stargirl takes no chances but to help immobilize the zombies and, at the finale of this mission, take on Nekron alone while the rest of the Insurgents deal with Lois.
