Initially not wanting any part of this ongoing war, Peacemaker has no other choice but to participate in it anyway as an Insurgent to help put an end to this conflict and prevent Nekron from ensuing Blackest Night. Also, Peacemaker hates Amanda Waller over initially rushing him as a Suicide Squad member and calling the other convicts Peacekeepers since he already took the word "peace" in his alias.
