Fan Casting Ferdick Baldassare in Indiana Jones and the Saucer Men From Mars

A well-dressed, suave gentleman who leads a gang of river pirates in the Borneo prologue. He wipes his brow with a silk handkerchief while his men do the killing. He is after the maps Indy has discovered, orders Indy thrown to the crocodiles, and believes he has won. But Indy survives. Baldassare escapes on his PT boat, laughing as Indy's steamer goes over the falls. He is a classic "gentleman villain"—sophisticated, cruel, and utterly charming, bringing charisma and menace.
