Fan Casting Professor Thad Priestly in Indiana Jones and the Monkey King

A young, wisecracking, greasy-haired fellow professor who appears briefly in Indy's office to show off a photo of a giant fish he caught. He slaps Indy on the back, calls him "Jonesey," and needles him about his failed Scottish fishing trip. A smug, back-slapping bro, Priestly represents the mundane academic annoyance Indy is desperate to escape. He vanishes from the film after his single scene—forgotten as soon as Indy leaves for Africa.
