Fan Casting Indiana Jones in Indiana Jones alternate cast

Tom Selleck was originally cast but it was suspected there would be scheduling conflicts with filming Magnum P.I. so he backed out. It turned out filming on Magnum was delayed and he could have had the time to do the role after all. Ford had been suggested, and was at the top of Spielberg's list, but Lucas didn't want to cast him because he had already cast him in 2 movie franchises already, but in the end, he was the only one (aside from Selleck) who seemed to fit the role.
