She felt like she's had it with her son's delusions of trying to be a "super" that she just gives up on him. She becomes a broken woman after Buddy gets sent to a foster home. After hearing what happened to her son years later, she goes completely mad and vows revenge on the whole Incredible family. One day, she receives a call from a guy named Xerek who says he might help her achieve her goal. He even tells her that she has a granddaughter who as tech-savvy as Buddy was. To get what she wants, Mrs. Pine agrees to be Xerek's assistant.
