Professor Grampy is a fictional character who has been featured in Betty Boop cartoons produced by Fleischer Studios and released under the ownership of Paramount Pictures where he appeared in 9 Betty Boop cartoons.
He is an ever-cheerful and energetic old man with a bald, dome-shaped head, white beard, and black nose (red in color cartoons). He is implied to be Ko-Ko the Clown living out his retirement (and to the fullest). Grampy's primary activities include singing, dancing, and building Rube Goldberg-esque contraptions and devices out of ordinary household items.
When presented with an unexpected problem, Grampy puts on his thinking cap (in the image of a mortarboard with a lightbulb on top). In short order, when the lightbulb lights up, he exclaims, "Hooray, I've got it!" and gets to work on building a new contraption or so to solve whatever problems.
