John H. Mallory was an Irish Republican Brotherhood member and silver prospector in Mexico who fought in the Mexican Revolution. Mallory was a socialist who read the works of Mikhail Bakunin and fought against imperialism both at home and abroad, and he sacrificed himself during his final battle against the Mexican Army in 1913.
