Ralphie Tennelli is a fictional character from The Magic School Bus, who has been featured in both the book and TV series respectively. He is a student at Walkerville Elementary School and the class athlete of Ms. Frizzle's class. Ralphie is dark and mysterious, is known to daydream in class who often stares off into the distance, which often makes his classmates bring him back down to earth. Other than daydreaming, Ralphie is also a comic book geek and a big fan of science fiction with a somewhat overactive imagination. He wears a lime green t-shirt with a red capital R on the front, green-rinse black jeans, a pair of red and white sneakers, and a red baseball cap backwards. Ralphie plays a lot of sports, including soccer, basketball, hockey, and baseball. He is shown to be the leader of his classmates every now and then, despite having tendencies of jumping to conclusions and ignoring better judgment. Ralphie has occasionally shown to rival Carlos when it comes jokes and has been known to butt heads with fellow classmate Keesha on certain things.
