Frost is a character in the Mortal Kombat fighting game series. A former Lin Kuei assassin and student of Grandmaster Kuai Liang, better known as Sub-Zero, she is the leader of the Cyber Lin Kuei in the alternate timeline. She has served as an antagonist throughout the series towards her former master Kuai Liang. Frost made her playable debut in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance. She returned as one of the many playable characters in Mortal Kombat: Armageddon. Frost returned in Mortal Kombat 11 as an antagonist in the game's Story Mode, marking her return to the franchise as a playable character for the first time in almost 14 years. Frost returned in Mortal Kombat 1 as one of the many selectable Kameo Fighters.
