Philip James Sheridan (1935/1936 - January 6th, 2021) was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who died peacefully at his home on January 6, 2021. He was 85. Best known for his acting roles as Yoshimitsu in Soulcalibur II (2003) and Pistol from Henry V (2007), Phil was an actor and librarian and loved the written and spoken word. He shared this love with children of all ages, and was especially known for reading and acting out stories to young children in Marin County libraries. He came to Mill Valley in the 60s and started the first bookstore at the MV Book Depot. He was a Librarian in Marin County libraries and at San Quentin. In 2013 he was awarded a Milley in honor of his contribution to the community. In his acceptance speech he said "I hope that in years to come, the children I read to will have retained enough courage, enough kindness, enough compassion that some part of our world will become a better place to live."
