A hard reboot of the original slasher movie, and a very loose adaptation of the novel of the same name, where it focuses heavily on our characters lives, and actually reveals a lot more of the incident that happened last summer. Story: When four teenagers accidentally run over a little boy who was in the middle of the road, they decided to get rid of the body and to never tell anyone about this, feeling the guilt they kept for over a year. Now, a mysterious note was left to Julie James, saying "I know about last summer." Telling her friends about this, one of them decides to tell the police, but the rest refuse. Until, something unexpected happens. One by one, the friends are killed off by a certain killer who's after them for killing their younger brother. The only question remains is this: Is he out for revenge?
